About Elizabeth
Meet Elizabeth Lang, a visionary social entrepreneur dedicated to championing justice and inclusivity in all her endeavors. As the Founding CEO of Diversity Focus, Elizabeth is a driving force behind the creation of inclusive workplace cultures, fervently advancing racial and gender equity.
Beyond corporate leadership, Elizabeth is the innovative mind behind Mane Caps, an Australian-based venture ensuring accessibility to water sports for individuals with voluminous hair. Her commitment to inclusivity knows no bounds.
With a rich background spanning community development, academic teaching, and qualitative research, Elizabeth is a sought-after speaker, gracing national and international stages, including the United Nations in Geneva.
An academic powerhouse, Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Social Science and a Master of Human Rights from Curtin Centre for Human Rights Education. Currently pursuing doctoral studies at Curtin University, her research focuses on critical issues of gender and racial equity.
Her impact reverberates globally, earning her recognition in the Global 100 Under 40 Most Influential People of African Descent. Elizabeth’s accolades include the 2023 Business Migrant Award and being named a finalist for the 2024 Telstra Best of Business Award for Accelerating Women.
