“I had the privilege to hear Elizabeth speak at the Westrac Culture & Safety meeting, I knew straight away that she would speak with care and compassion when she did the acknowledgement of country in a way that resonated with myself as a person who was also born overseas. It was also heartening to hear her inform the audience that the subject she was about to talk about was difficult and confronting and that if they needed a break and or leave the room she would understand. Elizabeth made everyone in the room feel valid and valued and provided the most up to date information she had available. But was willing and interested to listen to what the audience had to say, which included personal experiences. I left her talk with more food for thought”
